Term 4 goals

This term is a very ecxiting because there are lots of things happening,but I have some goals. One of my goals are... representing vardon school in the interschools for athletics, my other goal is to learn my 7x, 8x and my 12x tables. So this is going to be an exciting term.

Room10's assembly

On Friday we had our assembly. It was set out like the news and there were two reporters Rory And Ocean and there were two presenters Me and Poppy. We were interviewing Room10 and they were sharing their learning with us. It was pretty cool and we only had two practices till the big day. So our assembly was pretty hard but we did it.

Koru art

This morning in room 7 we made Koru art. First we practiced drawing korus and the one you think is the best you can use it for your good copy and the koru stands for new life. So you need to put as many korus around it for the number of people that are in your family. You outline the big koru, which is you. Then you colour it in one way. After that you draw a border around the big koru. Once you have done the border you draw a border around the other korus around you. After that you colour in the korus around you with a different colour but make sure you don't colour in the border.  Then we died it black.

Term 2 Reflection

Looking back at term 2 It has been a good journey so far. Even that I've had such a good time my favourite time in term 2 are... Learning lots of different equations,writing lots of different stories and reading lots of chapter books.The things I want to achieve are... scoring a goal in the reps,coming 1st,2nd or 3rd in the speech finals, coming 1st in cross country and getting in to the interschools . The things I have achieved are... reading chapter books and getting in the reps. I can't wait until term 3.

  

Technology

All thanks to the museum trip we can make an awesome costume with room15.We have different groups my group has five people and those people are Fabian,Ashlynne,Libby and Jack. Our inspiration is a magician. We have to make our costume out of things you can recycle. We Modified and made our costume stronger because our group

are going to hot glue gun some cards together and put them on the costume and we are going to put some materials to make it stronger.We have to have a model a spokesperson and a  performer. Fabian and me are the spokespersons and Libby is the model and Kenly,Jack and Ashlynne are the performers. I can't wait till it is week eight because we get to show off our costumes at the Trashion show.

Museum trip

Room10 and room9 went to a really exciting place and it was the museum.  We learnt some of the materiels that the costumes were made of. My favourite costume was a medal knight with a long sword. We had to do a  challenge with a twist and it is... You have to make your own head piece for our costume and we could only use paper,stapler and cellatape and the twist was it would be shown in uv light. I loved the museum trip. I wish I could stay there forever

Today I read a really cool book about basket ball and mrs williamsons amazing brain remembered Steven Adams. He is Valarie Adams half brother .  He is seven feet tall. That is the taller than our door .  I think he is a good role model because he doesn't get into fights and he is a nice guy.He plays for the Pittsburgh Panthers University team.  He wants to play for the NBA If he gets chosen to play he will make millions of dollars.

Descriptive writing

We had to do descriptive writing and we had to do it on our favourite place at school I will give you an example. Where am I?
It is surrounded by beautiful trees. It a good place to run around.There is a huge patch of grass with a long green cricket pitch, pretty birds flying everywhere and  the long grass is changing colour from brown to little specks of green.

Camp week

Last week was camp week we had such fun because we had team games was the skies , the train, a number game and a tricky game that includes running and patterns. All the games were really fun.The day after that we learnt lots of things about native trees. The Kahikatea was the biggest tree in the mangakara bush walk. Tomorrow I am so excited because tomorrow is our camp over. It is going to be so much fun we are going to have lots of activities we have the slip and slide and the play ground and the swimming pool and get to sleep at school.  It will be funny walking up at school.
